...are the passion, the promise and the potential behind Homegrown Homes.
And the possibility.
The promise - to ourselves, and to our fellow citizens in need that somehow, in some way, we'll get the job done. We will lobby politicians and governments for more funding, and seek out new funding partners who share our compassion for the homeless, the houseless.
The passion that consumes us over the need for affordable housing keeps us awake at night, and drives us forward. A capacity for thinking outside the box. The potential for swinging a hammer, or wielding a paintbrush.
The possibility that one day, everyone will have a decent home in which to live. But it will take passion and potential, to get us from promise to possibility.
In the end, it's not just a bunch of pretty words that will get the job done.
It's our people - our founders, board and committee members, our administrators, and our volunteers. Our partners.
And we're looking for new people - all of the above - all the time.
People who share the dream - and who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves to make it happen.
